Challenges of Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR) in Latin America in 2025

Despite the digital transformation and concerns about issues such as privacy, cybersecurity and technological sustainability, EHR in Latin America still has hurdles to overcome in order to be implemented.

Corporate Digital Responsibility (CER) is gaining momentum in Latin America and, although it is not always formally referred to as "CER", there are various initiatives and regulations being adopted in the market in the region to address these five challenges:

Personal data protection and privacy

Privacy regulations vary from country to country, forcing companies to comply with multiple regulations, from the General Data Protection Law in Brazil (LGPD) to global standards such as the European GDPR. Managing data ethically is crucial to build trust with users and avoid penalties.

2. Digital divide and access to technology

Despite advances in connectivity, many regions still lack adequate access to the Internet and technology, hindering digital inclusion and limiting growth opportunities for vulnerable businesses and communities.

3. Cybersecurity and risk prevention

Cyber threats do not discriminate between small and large companies. In 2025, investment in security infrastructure, training and collaboration with experts will be key to preventing attacks and protecting sensitive data.

4. Education and digital awareness

The adoption of responsible practices in the digital environment requires a cultural change within organizations. Employees must be educated on issues such as digital ethics, security and sustainability, and information must be made available to customers.

5. Sustainability and digital environmental impact management

From data center energy consumption to the recycling of electronic devices, companies must adopt sustainable strategies to reduce their environmental footprint.

2. Digital inclusion and sustainability

We seek to generate a positive impact in the region, promoting the inclusion of diverse talent and supporting projects that help establish a sustainable creative economy, both for freelancers and companies.

3. Ethical use of creative technology

We promote the responsible use of digital tools and artificial intelligence. At Findie, we believe that technology should enhance human talent, not replace it.

Corporate Digital Responsibility in Latin America is a challenge, but also an opportunity for companies to innovate with ethics and sustainability. Organizations that adopt responsible practices will not only strengthen their reputation, but will also contribute to a fairer, more inclusive industry that is prepared for the digital future.
