Graphic Artist
Santiago, Chile
I am José 'Tuku' Elgueta, Chilean graphic artist. My work fuses digital illustration and fine art, exploring contemporary shamanism. I have collaborated with brands such as Adidas and The Washington Post. I am looking to expand my work globally, creating new collaborations.
This collaboration arose from Adidas with the idea of creating a store with a unique identity, linked to an artist. In this case, I was honored to be selected, which led me to develop a series of murals for the space. Over time, my involvement has extended to the design of the store's merchandise, making Adidas Mut a complete and constantly evolving collaborative experience.
As part of its global campaign Remember the Why, Adidas carried out a series of artistic interventions in basketball courts throughout Latin America, with floor murals created by different artists. In Chile, I was the artist selected for this task, giving life to the largest court painted in Latin America.
On this occasion, Lollapalooza Chile invited me and my collective Koncreto to create a series of murals in its store during the 2024 edition. With great enthusiasm, we carried out this titanic task in just three days, creating a visually stunning space.
